This is my phoenix - the second of my five tattoos and probably my favorite.
It is based on Isaiah 61:3, as well as a song that my brother-in-law wrote for me. Both speak of God trading our ashes in for beauty. This truth resonates so deeply with me & I think the phoenix is the perfect symbol for beauty being birthed from ashes!
